True Religion

I would like to talk to you this morning about True Religion, or it could be called, The Sheep and the Goats. Let me tell you that there won't be any goats in heaven! Come with me to this fascinating story that was our scripture reading today - Mt 25:31-40 - beginning with verse 31, The story of the sheep and the non-sheep, the goats. Every one of us is either a Sheep or a Goat. At the time of the judgment Jesus separates the sheep and the goats from each other. Whose job is it to separate them? Is that the nominating committee, or the church board? Does that belong to you, or to me? No! It belongs to Jesus Christ. Read More >>

The Elijah Message

God in His infinite love, mercy, and grace sent Elijah the Tishbite to His wayward people, who had been so entangled with Baal worship that all but seven thousand had bent their knees in devil worship. Again years later when it became time for the first advent of Christ, God sent a second Elijah in the person of John the Baptist to again awaken his slumbering people from the teachings of tradition by false shepherds. How about today? God is now sending a third and last Elijah with a message - a message that is to be preached throughout the world to prepare a people for the Second Coming of Christ.  Read More >>

Victory Over Sin

On September 5, 1974 the editorial page of the Review and Herald addressed one of the most important problems facing Christians in a secular world. Kenneth Wood's comments deserve our thoughtful attention. Perhaps the most serious danger that threatens the church is that it will lose its uniqueness, that it will become like the world around it, that its schools, its medical institutions, its methods of promotion, its literature, its standards of measuring success, will be scarcely distinguishable from those of the secular world. Read More >>

Imputed and Imparted Righteousness

Christ our Righteousness – imputed and imparted. These two words, imputed and imparted, are seldom used these days yet they are so meaningful in God’s plan of salvation. The Lord has impressed me to devote this entire tape to an understanding of imputed and imparted righteousness so we may be ready to meet Jesus when He comes.  Read More >>

God's Problem

I would like to study with you today about God's problem. Now, if you're a physician, or a teacher, or a pastor, you deal with people all the time that have problems. Not so often do we think that God has a problem, but God has a gigantic problem, and this is what God's problem is. I'll state it to very simply, and then we'll see what is the solution to God's problem. This, in just a sentence, is God's problem. God wants to save sinners, without saving the sin.  Read More >>

Justification By Faith

Christ Our Righteousness. In this message we will be discussing the subject of justification by faith. Today numerous errors are being circulated among God’s people regarding justification by faith, sanctification and other salvation doctrines. As a result many members are being misled and captivated by gross errors most of which have originated in the churches of the world which we know as Babylon.  Read More >>

Lord's Day

In this message we are going to discuss a day in which we can worship our God and have full assurance that we are keeping His day holy by obeying God's holy law as found in the Ten Commandments. Every true Christian believes in the Ten Commandments, and we read in the Bible if we commit sin we break God's law, for the Bible states in 1 John 3:4, "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."  Read More >>

Creation

"By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in store houses. Let all the earth fear the Lord: Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done: he commanded, and it stood fast." Psalm 33:6-9. The first eleven chapters of Genesis make up the whole seed plot of the Word of God and the whole plan of salvation. Creation is taught in Genesis as is the historical fact of a worldwide flood along with a number of other great Bible doctrines.  Read More >>

Shades of Gray

It is interesting that in dealing with certain things there is no gray area. People who handle explosives for a living know that if you don't do it right you can end up dead wrong. There are also the people who work for NASA. They are really particular. A simple O ring was bad on the Challenger and tragedy was the result. I have been giving a lot of thought to the matter of what we call the gray areas of our lives. For some reason that I don't understand we take more risk in matters having to do with our eternal destiny that a person in their right mind will do with things having to do with temporal things.  Read More >>

You Be The Judge

Many times when someone begins to try to apply truth to a particular situation, there will be someone who will say, "But we ought not to judge." Perhaps we are confused on this concept about "not judging." Let me illustrate. Suppose I want to go to Fort Pierce, Florida. I stop to get some gasoline, and the person at the desk informs me I am on the road to Jacksonville. The person who tells me that I am not on the right road is not judging me. They are only telling me the truth.  Read More >>

The Search for the True Church

Is there a true church in the world today? And if so, how can it be identified? Of all the religious questions facing the modern truth-seeker, this is certainly the most demanding and also the most frustrating. Conflicting voices from every quarter declare that they have the answer. Denominations, sects, and cults make strident claims based upon emotional interpretations of isolated Bible texts.  Read More >>
